"Sometimes while I'm talking to God, He'll show me something about myself in such a way that I have to laugh at my own humanity and how funny I must look to Him." - Donna

Donna...just found your blog...I absolutely love it! And I love your singing! I'm at work right now and it was just exactly what I needed to hear to help me make it through tonight! Thanks for your ministry here!

Cute poem, Donna. Reminds me of those days when I lovingly packed lunches for my 3 kids. And the interesting part is that other kids would look forward to having some of what I'd packed for mine!

Thanks, Rhodi, for checking it out! My kids always wanted a packed lunch - except on pizza days. :)

I don't know if they swapped with the other kids or not. I'll have to ask them!

As a teacher, I STILL prefer a home-packed lunch to school cafeteria food. Your poem took me back to my lower elementary years when our school didn't have a cafeteria. EVERYBODY packed a lunch, and the whole room smelled like bologna and salami.
